Welcome to Mission Creek Alliance Church Minimize

During the month of March we are investigating the enduring Word. We’ll investigate aspects of the Bible including; revelation – God revealing himself to us, the origins of the scriptures, the role of the Holy Spirit in bringing the Bible to life, and the Living Word.

This Sunday our series on The Word continues with Brian Derksen speaking on: How did we get the Book we have? The Bible is a book of ancient writing that has relevance to our lives today. We look forward to seeing you again this week!

Next Sunday Daren Wride will teach about inspiration and we will also celebrate communion in both services.  I encourage you to look through our bulletin or browse through our webpage to learn more about our upcoming Easter Weekend Celebrations and future special events.  We look forward to seeing you again this week!

"The Word" - March Sermon Series
In the month of March our sermon series will center on the Scriptures. We’ll look at how God has revealed Himself to us through the written Word, that His heart desire is to reveal Himself to each of us. We will ask the question; “where did we get the Bible we have?”, and investigate the role of the Holy Spirit in bringing scripture to life. And then as we get near Easter, we’ll talk about the Word becoming flesh.

"Minor Prophets – Major Messages" - April Sermon Series
There are a series of small books at the end of the Old Testament that are often overlooked. They are called the minor prophets and they have some major messages that speak to us today. We will take a look at the more familiar book of Jonah and some of the lesser familiar but equally important prophets, what they had to say to the people of their day, and then ask, “What does God want to say to us through these writings?”

Good Friday, April 2nd
Journey to the Cross
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 noon

On Good Friday MCA will provide an interactive opportunity for you to slow down, to leave the busyness of life and to focus on Jesus.  Through a series of stations you will experience the journey of Christ to the cross. You may walk through as a family, small group, or as an individual.  In this 60 minute experience, there will be time to reflect, pray, write and draw.  The Journey to the Cross is not about an agenda or meeting anyone’s expectations.  It’s simply a time and a place for you to draw close to Jesus.
